Ann Ledbetter, MSN, CNM, is a midwife at a federally qualified health center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she provides prenatal, postpartum, and well-woman care and attends births in the hospital. She is also a researcher, with published work on vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). Passionate about expanding access to high-quality maternity care for underserved communities, she especially loves serving immigrant families and provides care in both English and Spanish. Ann serves on Wisconsin’s Maternal Mortality Review Team and writes about pregnancy, birth, and parenthood on her Substack, A Moderate Midwife.
