Infertility and fertility treatments
- RESOLVE, The National Infertility Association: Committed to providing access to care, support, community, education, awareness, and advocacy for those struggling to build a family.
- Resilient Sisterhood Project: An informational resource for Black women experiencing infertility.
- New York State Paid Prenatal Leave Law: FAQ on the paid prenatal leave program for any privately employed pregnant New Yorker. Under this policy, you can receive an additional 20 hours of paid sick leave for prenatal care, including fertility treatments.
Donors and surrogates
- Expecting.ai: A platform that connects intended parents with the right agency, surrogate, or donor for their family needs.
- PregnantTogether donor template: A helpful guide to initiating conversations for asking someone to be your “known” or “directed” donor.
- California Statutory Forms for Assisted Reproduction: A free contract for known sperm donors from the National Center for Lesbian Rights. For California residents only, but families in other states can use this as a reference.
- Gay Parents To Be: Informational resource and support for LGBTQ+ fertility and family building.
- Men Having Babies: This nonprofit organization provides surrogacy parenting advice and support for gay men globally.
Therapy, support, and education
- FOLX Health: The largest health and wellness platform for LGBTQ+ people, providing support for gender-affirming care, mental health, therapy, primary care, sexual and reproductive health, fertility, and family building.
- How to Find a Trans-Competent Therapist: FOLX offers talk therapy in select states and guidance for finding transgender-affirming therapy.
- Donor Conceived Community: A 501(c)(3) that offers support, education, and resources for donor-conceived people. This includes support groups for parents of donor-conceived children and many other resources that can be helpful on this journey.

- Queer Doula Network: An informational resource to find queer-affirming care, with a network of doulas and gestational workers.
- RTZ HOPE: Provides support groups and workshops for LGBTQ+ parents who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.
