I’m also in to evidence-based cheese! Did you know cheese is the best food to prevent cavities? Cheese is only slightly acidic and contains such a small amount of fermentable carbohydrates that it is a great snack for kids to prevent cavities. Can you tell I’m a pediatric dentist? 😆

Hello fellow data-driving parent focused people! I am a pediatric dentist endeavoring to practice evidence-based care in Bellevue, WA. It’s so hard to sift through areas that are not of my particular expertise but I feel the best clinicians are well-rounded beyond their particular training. I appreciate the Parent Data approach to discussing the state of the scientific literature in a measured and practical way that acknowledges the limitations of what we know.
Personally, I am a married 38 year old who is debating having children and, like many of the women involved with Parent Data, am concerned with the challenges of combining child-rearing and a career. I find Parent Data to be valuable to me personally and professionally and am excited to see it grow.
