If you enjoy kid activities, you should have a kid, but just one. Also, have a pile of money for childcare. I’m biased though, I like kid activities.

Win– our 4.5yo completed her second potty advent calendar and has been accident-free for… a while!
Woe– because of licensing, we found out we can’t keep her at her preschool for next year because she is school-age-eligible. We think she would really benefit from an extra year of maturity. The licensing thing affects a number of other childcare options too. So it’s like “sure, you can hold your kid out of school until they are 5 turning 6, but no one will give you childcare for that year.”

Anyone else here the parent that gets bored outside? Indoors, I can do chores, be on my phone and laptop…
