Hi Tamar, I was wondering if you guys ever covered social dynamics for kids on preschool on your podcast. I am learning that kids start to exclude other kids and say inappropriate thing (the classic bullying) at a very young age. I am looking for advices on how to help my daughter, she is the youngest on her class and the kids are giving her a really hard time when comes to allowing her to participate on group activities. She is capable and know what is required to be on that classroom, but now she is becoming shy and afraid to speak up what is a red flag to me, she was a natural social butterfly and now she is avoiding approaching other kids even on parks and out of school activities. I hear from the teacher that she is “quite” and rather “watch” the older kids, what is opposite of what I observe. She loves to play and used to be very social.
If you guys ever covered this topic please send it my way.
Here is what I am trying:
1) Set 1:1 playdates with the kids that seems to be the ones leading the “separation” and “mean comments”
2) I already talked to the school director and her teacher
3) I am searching for new schools options, because I am not sure if this school is dealing with the issue properly
4) Asking for advices/ help from other parents

Question/suggestion for podcast topics: Has bullying being normalized as “girl boss attitude”, “natural leader”? Are we permitting our kids to be mean if that they are the “leader” versus the victim? Is “gentle parenting” allowing bad behaviors?
